Tony Perkins On Trans Military Service

"Three years into the disaster of open homosexual service, and the Left is already trying to check the next box on its wish list. Of course, we heard the same sound bites in 2011, when the radical Left wanted to throw open the door for homosexuals. Now, deep into the pro-homosexual era, Americans are finally seeing the consequences of that political correctness: sky-high sexual assaults, religious intolerance, record-low morale, and widespread job dissatisfaction. If the administration is interested in letting people serve openly, how about Christians? Or chaplains? While the President has been pulling gays and lesbians out of the closet, he's been shoving men and women of faith in. If this is about pride and tolerance, then it's time to extend that same courtesy to the majority of our service members, who've been living under the administration's dark shadow of religious hostility far too long." - Hate group leader Tony Perkins, responding to news that the Secretary of the Air Force is open to transgender military service.

Crazy Eyes To Obama: Bomb Iran

"I turned to the president and I said, something to the effect of, ‘Mr. President, you need to bomb the Iranian nuclear facilities, because if you don’t, Iran will have a nuclear weapon on your watch and the course of world history will change.' And he got his condescending smile on his face and laughed at me and said, 'Well Michele, it’s just not that easy.' And I said to him, 'No, Mr. President, you’re the president, it will happen on your watch, and you’ll have to answer to the world for this.' And that was it and then I left. Merry Christmas." - Soon to be former Rep. Michele Bachmann, speaking to the president at the White House holiday party.

SOUTH KOREA: LGBT Rights Protesters Thank Supporters Around World

Via press release:
At 5 PM on December 10, the fifth day of the sit-in, the mayor requested a private conversation with the protesters. Consequently, a delegation consisting of six representatives from both LGBT activist groups and civil NGOs met with him. From the start, dialogue had been one of the protesters’ demands. During the private conversation, the mayor apologized to the LGBT delegation, “It is my responsibility and fault.” Saying, “I am sorry for the emotional pain that you have suffered and will make whatever statements that you demand,” he made it clear that “This is an occasion for me to offer comfort for the emotional pain that you have suffered and to apologize to you” and, “regardless of any misunderstanding or statement, no citizen will be subjected to discrimination or disadvantage.” He also stated, “I will search for practical ways of resolving the difficulties that you suffer from.” On the contrary, the official press release subsequently issued by the metropolitan government mentioned the entire train of events only briefly and inadequately: “deep regret for having provided the grounds for the sit-in.” Nevertheless, the protesters concluded that the promise made by the mayor during the private conversation was important.

FLORIDA: Woman Arrested For Putting Son In Drag As Public Punishment

From Orlando's CBS affiliate:
Christle Marie Prado was arrested Thursday on charges of cruelty toward a child and infliction of physical or mental injury. According to Winter Garden police, officers were contacted on November 24 about a possible child abuse incident. Photos were given to authorities that show the 10-year-old boy dressed as a girl, including wearing makeup, while crying. Prado told police that Keith Driscoll, her landlord and roommate, came up with the idea for punishment after she told him that her son often wet his pants and soils himself. Police said the boy has a documented medical condition. A neighbor told Local 6 that Driscoll also made the boy run around outside while others pointed and laughed at the boy because he was dressed as a girl. Neighbors also said the abuse of the boy and his two siblings has been going on for a long time.

FRANCE: Vice President Of Neo-Nazi National Front Party Outed As Gay

Via the Telegraph:
A French gossip magazine sparked outrage across the political spectrum on Friday by "outing" the far-Right Front National's vice president, Florian Philippot, as homosexual. The rare breach of Gallic press protocol is an embarrassment for the FN, whose attitude towards homosexuals has historically ranged from ambivalent to downright homophobic. Closer, which scored a global scoop in January by publishing photos of French president, François Hollande, visiting his secret lover Julie Gayet, on Friday released pictures of Mr Philippot with his boyfriend, an unnamed TV journalist, on a trip to Vienna last week. "At last a real weekend away from Paris," it headlined, followed by an inside article entitled: "Yes to love for all" – a play on words with France's recent Marriage for All bill legalising gay marriage. Politicians across the board slammed the revelation as an unacceptable breach of Mr Philippot's private life.
Among those denouncing the revelation are National Front head Marine Le Pen and the Socialist Party, which pushed through France's same-sex marriage bill. Two weeks ago the Kremlin lent the National Front €9M in the first installment of a reported €40M payment presumably meant to help tilt France's government to the far right. And today we learn that there's an even worse French version of Ken Mehlman sitting on that pile of Russian money.

PREVIOUSLY ON JMG: The National Front is a backer of the anti-gay Manif Pour Tous and has supported its numerous, vicious and often violent rallies, as have hate group leaders Brian Brown and Tony Perkins.  Founder Jean-Marie Le Pen has been convicted six times for inciting racial hatred, including for denying that the Holocaust took place. Earlier this year he "joked" that his critics, who include Madonna, will be in the next "batch" headed for the gas chambers.  He has also "joked" that ebola is the "solution" to Europe's immigration problems. Last year Le Pen's daughter, Marine Le Pen, herself a failed candidate for France's presidency, praised the man who committed suicide at Notre Dame Cathedral in protest of same-sex marriage. In February of this year Le Pen's granddaughter, 24 year-old Marion Maréchal-Le Pen, led a massive anti-gay march through the streets of Paris. In January of this year the youth leader for the National Front called for France to institute anti-gay laws similar to those in Russia.

Brian Brown Writes From The Future

From today's NOM money beg titled "Ten Years From Now":
I sit silently holding the note my sixteen year old daughter brought home from school, taking in the word stamped in red — "Suspended." I look at her and know immediately what has happened, because we've been through this before. "He was in the girl's bathroom again and I told him to leave," she explains. All I can do is shake my head, realizing this is not going to end well.

You see, the individual my daughter is referring to is a fully-developed seventeen year old young man, but he has chosen to "identify" as a "she." The school says "she" is entitled to use the girl's bathroom, locker room and even shower facilities, and that those like my daughter who object to losing their privacy are harming her identity and bullying her. Bullying will not be tolerated.

Kids these days are told that they can choose their own gender. In fact, gender is no longer particularly relevant in the public schools. A few years ago the school district adopted the Ontario, Canada construct of telling students there were six genders, but recently they've gone to the Facebook model and teach that there are dozens of genders. What is relevant these days is not gender, but "gender identity."

Last year they adopted new guidelines to eliminate gender expressions like "boys" and "girls."

There used to be a Christian student group on campus where my daughter and fellow believers could discuss how to minister to students with different views on issues like human sexuality, but the school disbanded their group because it "discriminated" against students who don't believe in living godly principles.
And that's just how it starts. Hit the link for the rest.

BRITAIN: New Porn Law Protested With "Face-Sitting" Event Outside Parliament

Via Gawker:
A mass facesitting demonstration is taking place outside Parliament in London to protest new U.K. pornography regulations that will hold online porn to the same standards as DVDs: That means no spanking, no bondage, no watersports, no fisting, no squirting, and, of course, no facesitting. Protestors opposed to the Audiovisual Media Services Regulations 2014, led by sex worker Charlotte Rose, staged the facesit-in to coincide with a parliamentary debate on what should be allowed in internet porn. Rose argues the new guidelines are sexist, because the list of banned acts seems to target female pleasure.
They were going to try for a world record of most people sitting on faces at the same time, but Guinness World Records has declined to document the attempt. The new law only applies to British porn sites, fetish videos from abroad will not be blocked. Photos of today's event are at the link.

NEW YORK: State GOP Chair Smashes $70K Vase At Catholic Art Event

New York GOP chairman Sen. Ed Cox accidentally smashed a $70K antique vase yesterday at an event to raise money to preserve the artwork at St. Patrick's Cathedral.
Bank of America CEO Brian Moynihan hosted the breakfast for New York notables including Home Depot billionaire Ken Langone and Blackstone’s John Studzinski in the bank’s swanky, art-filled corporate offices at One Bryant Park on Sixth Avenue. The breakfast was organized to bring together New York business leaders with Cardinal Dolan to discuss restoring the landmarked Fifth Avenue cathedral’s treasure trove of art and artifacts. But, a witness reports, “the peace was shattered when Ed Cox accidentally knocked over a 4-foot-tall antique vase in the center of the room. It fell to the floor and shattered with a terrible, piercing, sound which stopped the entire room.” The source added, “Ed nervously tried to edge away from the wreckage while the event staff looked mortified. One exclaimed, ‘Oh my God, that was a $70,000 vase!’ ”
Cox is married to Tricia Nixon, daughter of the late former president. He will not be asked to pay for the vase. (Tipped by JMG reader Dean)

BRITAIN: London Airspace Closed After Power Outage At Air Traffic Control

Via RT News:
Dozens of flights to and from Heathrow airport have been delayed or cancelled due to a power outage at air traffic control, European air traffic control authority Eurocontrol said on Friday. Heathrow, which is the UK’s busiest airport, said London airspace would be closed until 7pm on Friday, leaving a number of planes stuck on its limited runway space. “There is a power outage at the NATS control center in Swanwick which is affecting UK airspace,” a Heathrow spokesperson said. “Flights are currently experiencing delays. We will update passengers as soon as we have more information.” London Gatwick Airport claims no flights are currently departing from its runways, but flights are arriving as normal. A number of flights are being held over the English Channel.
Departures are being held at airports on the US east coast.

Scott Lively Doubles Down: Homosexuality Is Definitely Worse Than Genocide

"The Marxist media is inflamed with outrage again and my inbox is littered with hate mail and death threats based on comments I made recently on Trunews Radio that the Bible treats homosexuality as a form of rebellion against God even worse (from God’s perspective) than mass murder. In the tradition of the timid modern church, this is the point at which I’m supposed to 'walk-back' my comments and apologize for offending the enlightened sensibilities of the ruling elites. But I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, or any aspect of His Word, the Bible, which I hold to be literally true. I stand by my comments in the context in which I made them." - Scott Lively, in the opening of yet another 3000-word diatribe.

BRITAIN: Catholic Charity Head Arrested For Distributing Anti-Gay Leaflets

A monk who was arrested in Cambridge earlier this week for distributing homophobic leaflets has been revealed to be the head of a Scotland-based Catholic charity. Via Pink News:
53-year-old Damon Jonah Kelly from Corby, Northamptonshire was arrested on 8 December on suspicion of a Section 5 public order offence. He was bailed until 20 January, at which point he will return to Huntington Police Station in Cambridge. PinkNews has discovered that Kelly, who is actually a monk, is the director of the Scotland based charity the Black Hermits. Leaflets distributed in the city in October claimed that AIDS is God’s punishment for gays, homosexuality is linked to paedophilia, and that transgender people should be exorcised. However, Cambridge Police previously declined to take action to stop the anti-gay leaflets – stating they are covered by freedom of speech laws and are not a crime. A separate arrest was made in Brighton in connection with the distribution of homophobic leaflets last month.

FINLAND: Marriage Passage Finalized

Finland today finalized its approval of same-sex marriage.
On the 28th of November, Parliament decided to move ahead with same-sex marriage legislation voting down a decision by the Legal Affairs Committee calling for the rejection of a citizens' initiative bill on gender-neutral marriage. In effect, that vote approved same-sex marriage by 105-92 and referred the bill to committee as the next step in the passage process. On Friday, in a second vote, Parliament gave its approval to the citizens' initiative bill in a vote of 101-90 with one abstention and and 7 MPs absent session. The reform will require wide-ranging changes in other legislation, which will take well over a year to finalise. The law will therefore not take effect until 2016 at the earliest. Finland has allowed registered same-sex partnerships since 2002.
Debate on the bill began back in February after the issue was forced back onto the table by a national petition process. Opponents hope to undo today's action after the next election.
The nationalist Finns Party, the main opposition party in Parliament, is looking to overturn the law before it goes into effect, according to news reports. Their leader, Timo Soini, described parliament's vote to legalize gay marriage as "damaging", saying that "this will be the first time we make it normal for children to be removed from their biological roots." Also in the mix are the upcoming national elections for all 200 seats in Parliament, which are coming up in April 2015 – about 5 months from now. The leader of the religious coalition told us that they believe this vote could have an effect on the election, turning out many more pro-family voters.

House Approves Spending Bill

CNN reports:
Congress narrowly averted a government shutdown that was slated to take effect at midnight. The House approved a $1.1 trillion spending bill that keeps the government open through September. The Senate agreed to a two-day extension of current funding levels to give itself time to approve the House bill. After a tumultuous day, the House passed the spending bill in a 219-206 vote. Early Friday morning, President Barack Obama signed the deadline extension to midnight Saturday. The Senate will likely vote on the House bill on Friday, though that could slip. President Barack Obama is expected to sign it into law once it passes the Senate. The bill would keep most of the government running through the end of September, but only funds the Department of Homeland Security through February, when Republicans have vowed to pass new restrictions on the agency responsible for carrying out Obama's executive orders on immigration.

HomoQuotable - Dan Savage

"Look at Marcus Bachmann, Michele Bachmann’s husband. Anybody who has gaydar—anybody who has eyes—looks at him and sees a tormented closet case who has externalized his internal conflict and is abusing other people, doing his reparative-therapy bullshit. It’s so sad and pathetic. A lot of the self-destructive behaviors gay people are prone to drifting into are directed inward, and then you have these shitbags like Marcus Bachmann for whom it’s all directed outward. Marcus Bachmann is the photo negative of the guy on the last bar stool in the gay bar, drinking and smoking himself to death, except instead of destroying himself, he’s destroying other vulnerable queer people in an effort to destroy the queer inside himself." - Dan Savage, speaking to Playboy. Clip recap:
This video is a portrayal of the horrific reality many of our clients experience upon coming out to their parents. Tragically many report being met with physical violence and even more abusive scenarios. Statistically, more than half of homeless youth are propositioned for sex within 72 hours of being on the streets; for many of them this is their primary form of survival. At the Ali Forney Center we help young people overcome the trauma of being rejected by their families and the subsequent trauma of having to fend for themselves on the streets.

There’s a hologram of Kurt Cobain, performances from Taylor Swift and Iggy Azalea, and Stan’s dad resurfaces as Lorde, again. There are several duets throughout — Azalea performs “A Holly Jolly Christmas” alongside an Elvis hologram, and Swift is faced with the obscenely uncomfortable task of singing “Baby It’s Cold Outside” with Bill Cosby. Former "Ex-Gay" Client Of Ladybird Bachmann: I'm Still Totally Gay

Via Religion News Service:
Christian Schizzel spent 7 years being trotted around the country on media outlets as a poster boy for the ex-gay movement. Now, after reclaiming his gay identity, Christian says he won’t be a weapon anymore. In an exclusive interview with RNS, Christian tells about his experience with the Janet Boynes Ministries and The Bachmann & Associates counseling centers, the latter operation owned by U.S. Rep. Michelle Bachmann and husband Marcus Bachmann. Both entities were associated with the now closed Exodus International but are currently still in business. At nine years of age, Christian was sexually and physically abused by his step father — a missionary who used Bible verses to silence Christian into submission. He even used scripture during the acts itself to justify the abuse. Years later at the age of 18, after coming out to friends and family, Christian was encouraged to seek help at the ministry. It was there that they used this horrific experience to pinpoint the “cause” of Christian’s sexuality, although Christian said he knew about his sexuality before the abuse.
Shizzel: "Coming out publicly and sharing is important to me because my sexuality has been exploited my whole life by the Christian community." Hit the link to read the interview.

Sarah Palin Warns Republicans

"When you cut through all the 'inside baseball' stuff in this Omnibus Spending Bill that's in front of Congress, you're left with two cold hard facts: this bill doesn't defund Obama's amnesty (so he gets to reward lawbreakers with your tax dollars) and it adds to our dangerous, unsustainable debt. Hey, if you thought we wanted more of the same as we worked our butts off to get good folks elected in November, then why did we vote to oust liberals who got America into this mess in the first place? Guess what, GOP: our victory party is over and voters are wide awake and trusting you to keep your promises to America. Get a handle on your debt. Stop Obama's amnesty to illegal aliens. Support our military. Bottom line: we elected you to stop Obama's 'fundamental transformation of America.' Do it – especially you Republicans who promised to do it. Or face America's wrath next go 'round because an elephant never forgets." - Sarah Palin, posting to Facebook.

No Tax Breaks For Noah's Ark Theme Park Due To Discriminatory Practices

Via Insider Louisville:
Kentucky’s Tourism Arts & Heritage Cabinet Secretary Bob Stewart informed representatives of the proposed Ark Encounter tourist attraction today that their project will not be eligible for up to $18 million in tax incentives from the state, due to their refusal to pledge not to discriminate in hiring based on religion. Stewart explains that their application will not go forward because the state will not grant incentives to a company that openly intends to discriminate in hiring based on religion, saying it is a violation of the state constitution for these incentives to be used to advance religion. He detailed how Ark Encounter representatives had previously promised not to discriminate in hiring several times, but recently they have stated they have every right to do so, saying, “The Commonwealth’s position hasn’t changed. The applicant’s position has changed.”
Kentucky Gov. Steve Beshear has issued a statement:
We expect any entity that accepts state incentives not to discriminate on any basis in hiring. While the leaders of Ark Encounter had previously agreed not to discriminate in hiring based on religion, they now refuse to make that commitment and it has become apparent that they do intend to use religious beliefs as a litmus test for hiring decisions. For that reason, we cannot proceed with the tourism incentive application for the Ark Encounter project. This does not mean the project will not be built – on the contrary, Ark Encounter has said publicly that the project will be built regardless of availability of state incentives. I have no doubt that the Ark Encounter will be a successful attraction, drawing visitors and creating jobs, much like the Creation Museum.
Applicants to work at the Ark Encounter must stipulate that they believe God drowned everybody in the world because he loved them so fucking much. (Tipped by JMG reader Gene)

NORTH CAROLINA: Five Church Members Charged With Kidnapping Gay Man

Via a local North Carolina CBS affiliate:
Five members of a local church are facing serious charges. The Word of Faith Fellowship has been apart of the Spindale community in Rutherford County, North Carolina for more than three decades. One former member says something that happened behind closed doors had him fearing for his life.

"I honestly thought I was going to die," said Matthew Fenner. He says several church members beat and strangled him because he's gay. "My head was like being flung back, my vision was going brown and black," said Fenner. "I couldn't breathe and I'm sitting here thinking if I don't get out of this, i'm probably going to die."

That 2013 incident has now led to the indictments of five church members: Sarah Covington Anderson, Adam Christopher Bartley, Brooke McFadden Covington, Justin Brock Covington and Robert Louis Walker Jr. Each face simple assault and kidnapping charges. Anderson also faces an additional charge of assault by strangulation. The Rutherford County Sheriff's Office released the information Tuesday afternoon.
Fenner's mother and brother testified against him during a grand jury convened on Monday. Kenner has recounted other incidents of abuse by church members. Via Matt Comer reports at Q Notes:
Fenner continues, “I had at least 15-20 college age men around me, screaming, shaking me, punching me, hitting my chest, grabbing my head, telling me to repeat different phrases, all of which caused (and have resulted in much) mental distress to high levels.” Later in the incident, Fenner says he was surrounded again by a larger group of young men. “The pushing, screaming, hitting, and shaking ensued again, and this time with more force,” he writes. “If I so much as adjusted myself in the chair, I was knocked bak down and was told to stop resisting.”
The church has been investigated for other hate crimes in the past.

Tony Perkins Cheers Fayetteville Repeal

"Arkansas voters got an early Christmas present when Fayetteville put the city council on notice that it wouldn’t tolerate a Houston-type ordinance. In an incredible victory, voters turned out in droves -- even in an ultra-liberal college town -- to roll back a measure that would have given locals the 'right' to use either gender’s bathroom, shower, locker room, or any other public facility of their choosing. Like us, they see right through this 'non-discrimination' ploy to the real goal: strong-arming and silencing men and women who hold natural views of sexuality. Under Ordinance 119, the city would have actually invented a special position dedicated to investigating complains of LGBT prejudice. You can fight city hall -- and win!" - KKK-affiliated hate group leader Tony Perkins, via press release.

Human Rights Campaign: Does TLC Know How Hateful The Duggars Really Are?

From the HRC's blog:
Last night, LGBT equality took a step backward in Arkansas following a Fayetteville vote to repeal a citywide non-discrimination ordinance that included protections based on sexual orientation and gender identity.

In a vicious, months-long campaign, anti-LGBT activists painted Ordinance 119 -- a non-discrimination law -- as something that would allow "sexual predators ... to enter gender-private areas." This is legally wrong and has never been reported by officials in 12 states with non-discrimination laws on the books from as far back as 1993.

At the helm of the repulsive campaign against LGBT Arkansans was none other than the Duggar clan, best known from the TLC series "19 and Counting.” The family donated $10,000 dollars of its own money to the election campaigns of three of the staunchest opponents of the non-discrimination ordinance -- John La Tour, Joshua Crawford and Paul Phaenuef. And since August, the hate-fueled campaign has been airing transphobic robo-calls like this one from Mother Michelle to push forward its discriminatory mission.

It’s not the first time the Duggar clan has used their celebrity to advocate against equality. In October 2013, the Duggars went on the road with the Family Research Council for a “Values Bus Tour” across Virginia in support of a radically anti-LGBT gubernatorial ticket. Last month, Josh Duggar led a rally against marriage equality in Little Rock, Arkansas last minute.

It is time for the TLC celebrities to end their nationwide campaign to walk back the rights of LGBT Americans.Help to spread the word about how the Duggars are exploiting their fame to attack trans people. Tweet now.
Last month LGBT activists hijacked the fuck out of the pro-Duggars social media campaign, so there's no way TLC missed those thousands of tweets.
