I know almost nothing about flowers, but it's hard to miss that hydrangeas can be seen in the front of every other Provincetown house. That's probably why there's such a thing as the Cape Cod Hydrangea Festival, which is happening right now during Bear Week.

Father Tony and I arrived in Key West yesterday for our annual sojourn at the Island House. This morning I spotted these guys perched aboard the delivery scooter for the Old Town Bakery, my favorite breakfast spot on the island. The Mad Maxian delivery dude came out with an order, the pooches hunkered down, and off they zipped.

This is a parking meter on Commercial Street. Taped over the money slot is an envelope which reads, "Free parking. A random act of kindness. Have a great day! Pay it forward. Love is all you need." There's $3 in the envelope.
