RUMOR: SCOTUS Chief Justice John Roberts Considering Stepping Down

This comes from Radar Online, which has gotten a few juicy scoops recently, but still...grain of salt and all that.
John Roberts, Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court, is seriously considering stepping down from the nation’s highest court for personal reasons, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively. Roberts, known for his conservative judicial philosophy, has served on the Supreme Court since 2005, having been nominated by President George W. Bush after the death of former Chief William Rehnquist. RadarOnline.com has been told that Roberts, 55, could announce his decision at any time. The decision paves the way for President Barack Obama to make his second appointment to the U.S. Supreme Court following his first, Sonia Sotomayor.
Earlier this week, Roberts declined to block same-sex marriage in Washington DC. An Obama appointment to replace Roberts could swing the court to the liberal side, making the future of Perry vs. Schwarzenegger a lot brighter.

UPDATE: Closet case homocon Matt Drudge has this headline:
TOP COURT SOURCE TELLS DRUDGE: 'THIS IS NOT HAPPENING... NEWS TO ME'... DEVELOPING...
Even if this is crap, it's fun to watch the Freepers dissolve into hysterics. My favorite: "Roberts could be caught kidnapping children to perform in the North Korean Man-Boy circus...and I’d still want him to stay."

UPDATE II: Less than an hour after its first post, Radar Online now says: "RadarOnline.com has obtained new information that Justice Roberts will NOT resign. The justice will be staying on the bench." Oh well, that was fun for a few minutes in dreamland and for a few thousand freaked out comments on Free Republic.

Carrie Prejean XXX Avalanche: THIRTY Nude Photos, EIGHT Sex Tapes

When it rains, it fucking pours Miss Ladyfingers USA's vajayjay. Radar Online reports that another thirty nude photos and seven solo sex tapes of Carrie Prejean have surfaced. She made "the biggest mistake of my life" at least 38 times!
There are 30 nude photos and eight sex tapes of former Miss California Carrie Prejean, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively. It’s the most shocking turn yet in a scandal that has continued to follow the woman whose anti-gay marriage stance led to a national controversy and pitted her against pageant organizers. Stripped of her crown, Prejean sued the Miss California USA pageant but reportedly settled after the sex tape surfaced. She called the sex tape the biggest mistake of her life. Now a RadarOnline.com investigation has uncovered that there are SEVEN more “biggest mistakes” of her life – all of them solo performances, just like the one sex tape that the religious beauty queen has admitted to. And there are 30 photos of Carrie, most topless, some showing everything, and most taken by Carrie using her reflection in a mirror.
NOTE: Last week's JMG post titled Carrie Prejean Sex Tape at the moment remains the top Google result for that query - having brought in about 1.2 million pervy hits to this here website thingy over the last ten days. That doesn't mean much for us, except that porn spammers have been dropping malware and virus-laden links into many Ladyfingers-related posts. Beware and do not click out!

Sanchez Investigated By USMC

I promised that I wouldn't write about Matt Sanchez anymore, but I've gotten 50 or so emails in the last 24 hours, wondering why I haven't commented on the USMC investigating him for wrongfully soliciting "deployment funds". From yesterday's Marine Corps Times:

The Corps on Friday was slated to wrap up an investigation into allegations that a corporal in the Individual Ready Reserve who appeared in gay porn films before enlisting solicited more than $12,000 from private organizations by asking them to fund a deployment to Iraq he never made, according to e-mails from the investigating officer forwarded to Marine Corps Times.

Reserve Col. Charles Jones, a staff judge advocate called to Marine Corps Mobilization Command in Kansas City, Mo., on temporary orders that expire Saturday, informed Reserve Cpl. Matt Sanchez of the allegations against him in a March 22 e-mail that advised Sanchez of his rights.

Jones wrote that Sanchez’s participation in porn films was part of the investigation, but that two of the three allegations against him involved lying “to various people, including but not limited to, representatives of the New York City United War Veterans Council and U-Haul Corporation” about deploying to Iraq at the commandant’s request.

“Specifically, you wrongfully solicited funds to support your purported deployment to Iraq” by coordinating a $300 payment from the UWVC and $12,000 from U-Haul, Jones wrote.

In an interview Thursday with Marine Corps Times, Sanchez said the fund-raising allegations are “demonstrably false” and that he never collected money from either organization.

I am so glad that Sanchez says he's "not gay". Even though he says in a Radar interview today that he has enjoyed sex with men, we should be thankful that he is not claiming us. Very thankful.
