NH Gov OK With New Marriage Bill

New Hampshire Gov. John Lynch says that he is satisfied that his conditions have been met regarding the new wording on that state's marriage equality bill.
On Friday a conference committee of the New Hampshire House and Senate reached a compromise agreement and Saturday Governor John Lynch told NewsNine it appears that lawmakers are meeting his demands for more protections of religious freedom. "Well it appears that the agreement incorporates the principles I laid out a number of weeks ago, and it's important there be tolerance on both sides, including tolerance for religious institutions and people of religious faith," said Gov. Lynch.
Both of New Hampshire's legislative chambers will reconvene on Wednesday to consider the changed bill.
