Craig Works To Overturn Conviction

Larry Craig's lawyer will file court papers today, seeking to overturn Craig's disorderly conduct conviction on the grounds that he was under extreme stress after being hounded by journalists about his sexual orientation. According to the lawyer, that pressure caused Craig to plead guilty to the lesser plea following his sex sting arrest.

In other Craig news, Sun Valley Online points out that in order to reach the restroom he was arrested in, Craig would have had to pass back through the secured section of the Minneapolis airport, then go through security again to reach his gate. In additional to multiple public restrooms available on the secured side of the airport, Craig had access to an airline VIP lounge. Instead, he detoured to the notorious restroom with the glowing reviews on public cruising sites.
