She wears an elaborate re-creation of the original costume, re-imagined by the original designer, acclaimed costumer Bob Mackie. Designed by Bob Mackie.Carol Burnett is an idol to Ellen DeGeneres and today she appeared on Ellen to gift a teary DeGeneres with the doll. The Barbie brand turns 50 this month.
