NYC: Thousands March And Rally For Marriage Equality

Undeterred by and in defiance of Proposition 8, thousands of New Yorkers took to the streets tonight for a march from the West Village to Union Square, where a now-familiar roster of speakers rallied the crowd, warning everybody that only 24 days remain in the New York Senate's current session. A second rally will take place this Sunday in Astoria, Queens, where activists will attempt to sway Sen. George Onorato.
