Tomorrow: Bear Hill in Central Park
Every couple of Saturdays during warm weather, my crew gathers on Bear Hill in Central Park to kick back under the trees and enjoy the disco oldies from the roller rink below. Most days there's a dozen of so of us, but sometimes on special weekends such as Pride, our numbers swell greatly. So if you're in the neighborhood, feel free to join us. We get there about 2pm and the music runs until 5:30 or so. Most of us bring blankets or park chairs, but the grass is comfy too. Some of us bring refreshing beverages camouflaged in Sprite bottles. Bear Hill is due west of the Bandshell and southwest of the Bethesda Fountain. Following the thumping music or look for Skater's Way on this map.
