NY Gov. Paterson On Marriage Vote
I just came across this clip of Gov. Paterson's great speech at the Union Square post-vote rally/protest on Thursday, in which he vowed to bring the NY Senate back for another vote "if I think the votes are there." Paterson is probably the single greatest LGBT ally of any state governor - we owe him our vigorous support in his upcoming and likely to be very difficult 2010 election campaign.
UNRELATED: I accidentally walked into this cameraman's shot during Paterson's speech, but it looks like he was on a close-up of the governor's face at that moment. Whew. I still got a jab and a dirty look.
