Last year the U.S. military confiscated and destroyed a number of Bibles because an evangelical soldier was using them to try and convert Afghan locals, which is strictly forbidden.

The American Family Association has previously called for an end to allowing Muslims to immigrate the United States, for banning them from joining the military, and for a moratorium on all new mosque building in America.
