Today In Mildly Interesting Trivia

In order to enjoy the same grocery sales share they have in the rest of the country, Wal-Mart would have to build 159 stores in New York City. They presently have none, a situation they are paying PR firms millions to remedy as unions and city officials continue to fight them off. According to a recent study, NYC residents spent $215M last year at out-of-borough Wal-Marts.
