McCain To Endorse Romney

Failed 2008 GOP presidential candidate John McCain will today endorse failed 2008 GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
The endorsement is a signal by the party's one-time standard-bearer that Republicans should start falling in line behind the former Massachusetts governor, The Associated Press said. On Tuesday, Romney defended his conservative credentials, partly by contrasting his beliefs to McCain's. "Perhaps people forget that I ran for president four years ago ... you may recall that along with Mike Huckabee I was the conservative alternative to John McCain," Romney said on Fox News Channel. "I've got a record, and it's a conservative record."
