CO Governor To Call Back Legislature For Special Civil Unions Session
And more good news.
Colorado Gov. John Hickenlooper plans to call a special legislative session that will include debate on a civil unions proposal. The measure died Tuesday for lack of a vote as the current legislative session wound down. Hickenlooper spokesman Eric Brown said Wednesday that a special session will be called. Hickenlooper was expected to provide more details shortly. Minutes before news of a special session was released, President Barack Obama announced he now supports same-sex marriage.(Tipped by JMG reader Jeffrey)
