Marriage Banner Stolen From NC Church

The Unitarian Church in Winston-Salem says that their banner opposing North Carolina's Amendment One has been stolen.
Members of the church on Robinhood Road had put up the banner two weeks ago, said Janet Owen, the chairwoman of the church's social action council. Owen said the banner was gone Monday morning. Someone had taken the banner out of the metal frame, she said. The proposed constitutional amendment is on the May 8 ballot and would define marriage between a man and a woman as the only legally recognized domestic union in North Carolina. Supporters of the constitutional amendment also have complained about signs being stolen and billboards being vandalized. Vote FOR Marriage NC has sent out emails detailing acts of vandalism across the state.
At least it wasn't shot.
