Brian Brown: SCOTUS Will Hear Prop 8
"I’m confident -- I’m very confident -- that they [SCOTUS] will take the [Prop 8] case. I don’t think the court is going to find some hidden right to same-sex marriage deeply embedded in our Constitution. So, I think we’re going to win. The DOMA cases too, I think we’ll win. This needs to be resolved at the federal level." - NOM president Brian Brown, speaking on Michelangelo Signorile's SiriusXM show. The Supreme Court may reveal as early as tomorrow as to whether they'll hear the Prop 8 case, although Buzzfeed reporter Chris Geidner notes that the decision may be put off until after the election.
