Adelson Vows To Double Down
Wingnut casino mogul Sheldon Adelson, who spent an estimated $150M during the 2012 campaign, says he's willing to spend twice as much next time. Think Progress reports:
Adelson told the Wall Street Journal that his 2012 donations were double what he gave in 2008 and that he was ready to double his spending again. “I’ll spend that much and more,” he pledged, “Let’s cut any ambiguity.” In 2004, the general election campaigns of President George W. Bush and Sen. John Kerry — combined — spent less than $150 million.Adelson is thought to be worth $25B.
