NOW It's Worth Watching

I much prefer Dame Shirley's trademark number This Is My Life to her Bond stuff, but I'll gladly take what I can get.  I've only seen her once in concert and even though I'd fallen and broken six bones in my hand and wrist that morning, I still made it to the San Francisco Opera House, where I was admonished for applauding by banging my cast on the armrest since I couldn't clap. Thank you, Vicodin.
