Canadian Human Rights Commission Drops Case Brought By NOM Spokesman
Two years ago Canadian sportscaster Damian Goddard claimed that he was fired by his network for sending a single tweet against same-sex marriage. Rogers Communication denied that claim, saying that Goddard's termination was related to other issues which they declined to disclose at the time. Six months later NOM hired Goddard as a spokesman for their silly Marriage Anti-Defamation Alliance as he pursued a wrongful termination claim with the Canadian Human Rights Commission. As you can see from today's tweet from Goddard, that case has now been dropped. WAH-wah.
