New York City mayoral candidate and Public Advocate Bill de Blasio just had a campaign staffer resign for offensive tweets he made under the handle Hyman Doodlesack. Via Gothamist:
According to the Post, a part-time staffer named Anthony “Tony” Baker resigned yesterday after the paper outed him for his tweets composed under the handle “Hyman Doodlesack,” some highlights of which included “AIPAC makes me want to be a Nazi,” and “In BKB Park today taking in the Sun (GOD) + signing copies of my new book, Was Columbus a Homo or Was He Just a Jew? NOW in KINDLE #pride.”De Blasio has called the tweets inexcusable.
