New Virginia Marriage Poll
Seven years ago 43% of Virginians voted against a ban on same-sex marriage. A new poll released this week shows that support for marriage equality has "only nudged up slightly" since then. David Weigel writes on Slate: "If SCOTUS doesn't find a constitutional right to gay marriage, states like Virginia can only legalize if they pass new voter-validated amendments. And marriage isn't a majority-making issue yet."
