Texas GOP Backs "Ex-Gay" Torture
Yesterday I reported that the Texas GOP has tentatively removed the "worst" of the anti-gay language from its 2014 party platform. Today the Houston Chronicle reports on an addition to that platform: "We recognize the legitimacy and value of counseling which offers reparative therapy and treatment to patients who are seeking escape from the homosexual lifestyle. No laws or executive orders shall be imposed to limit or restrict access to this type of therapy." Stand by for another celebratory press release from the homocons...
