TRAILER: Audacity

Via press release from the banana man:
A new movie in the works by Ray Comfort, whose award-winning documentaries have been seen by millions, has raised more than $250,000 in a crowd-funding campaign in less than 30 days. Comfort said, "We are delighted with the response, and are within $60,000 of the total production cost. It's important that the movie be funded through donations because it will be made available without charge on YouTube." The production, called "Audacity," is a departure from Comfort's usual filmmaking style. It's his first scripted film, and it uses Hollywood actors to present a biblical view. Other Christian films address homosexuality in documentary form, but Comfort wanted something different to keep the attention of skeptics. "It is a stirring story...a powerful movie that we believe faces this most controversial--even volatile--issue, in a unique and loving way." Noting that many Christian films are unfortunately low quality, Comfort stated, "This issue is so important, we don't want anything to detract from the message of the movie, or give people any other reason not to see it. So we are pursuing excellence in every facet of this production."
