Via the Sydney Daily Telegraph:
Nick Jonas will headline this year’s annual Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras Party. The former teen star has been announced in a line-up that includes Jessica Mauboy, Jake Shears and Paul Mac to perform at the much hyped event that follows the annual Mardi Gras Parade on March 7. “I will be making my first appearance in Australia at Mardi Gras,” Jonas said in an interview to air on Smallzy’s Surgery on Nova 96.9 from 7pm tonight. “I am so excited to perform, I know Mardi Gras is an amazing night and whole thing and I am just thrilled.” Others on the Mardi Gras line-up include Dan Murphy, Betty Who, Courtney Act and David Morales. “I think if you acknowledge it, it makes it un-sexy,” Jonas said of being a sex symbol.(Tipped by JMG reader Lezhow)
