Fourteen GOP Congressmen
have signed on as cosponsors of Rep. Paul Broun's
House Resolution 121: "Encouraging the President to designate 2010 as The National Year of the Bible." Broun (R-GA) has also sponsored a proposed constitutional amendment banning same-sex marriage and a bill that would withhold federal funds from any school whose students recited the Pledge of Allegiance or the national anthem in languages other than English.
