No Majority From NY Dems

In a statewide poll conducted for CBS News, only 48% of New York Democrats said they support gay marriage, a low number that surprised the poll takers. The lowest support comes from black Democrats, 45% of whom are "strongly opposed". Gay marriage did not make the top ten list of concerns for Democratic New Yorkers.
