Morning View - Lincoln Building

Across 42nd Street from Grand Central Terminal, the 55-story neo-Gothic Lincoln Building was completed in 1930. A contemporary of the Empire State and the Chrysler, the Lincoln is often overlooked due to its prettier, flashier neighbors, but is quite striking nonetheless. It's hard to get a good shot of the Lincoln from the ground, as is frustratingly the case with many of Gotham's most interesting buildings. For a better photo than mine, go here. The Lincoln's occupants are heavy on corporate lawyers and there's a 15,000 volume law library off the lobby which is exclusively for the use its tenants.
