At their joint forum at California's Saddleback megachurch on Saturday, both candidates voiced their opposition to gay marriage.
Though the candidates came down on opposite sides of the California initiative that would ban gay marriage, both stressed that they opposed same-sex marriage. Obama called marriage "a sacred union," drawing applause when he added, "God is in the mix."God is in the mix? Tickets to the forum were $1000 each. The church made $1.8M tax free with this event. Money is in the mix. Most are giving McCain a huge win for the forum.
