Morning View - IAC Building

Frank Gehry's building for Barry Diller's InterActiveCorp on the West Side Highway in Chelsea is sometimes called "the glass schooner" for the way it evokes a ship under sail. Finished last year, it is New York City's first and only Gehry. I'm not a tremendous fan of Gehry and this building doesn't help. I do, however, give the man enormous props for making fun of himself on The Simpsons. "Frank Gehry, you're a genius!"
