McCain's campaign has proven that Sarah Palin did not belong to the AIP although she attended their 1994 and 2000 conventions and reached out to them this year with a recorded message of support. On the other hand, Todd Palin WAS a member of the AIP from 1995-2002.

Can you imagine the outcry, the outrage, the hysterical call to arms if Michelle Obama had ever even shaken hands with rabid secessionist, much less been an active member of such a group for years and years? The Palins have their own Rev. Wright strapped to their backs. His name is Joe Vogler.
