The Simpsons Goes HD
To mark what was supposed to have been the launch of digital television nationwide, last night's 20th season debut episode of The Simpsons broadcast in HD for the first time. And it's the first time the show has made major changes to the opening sequence since the show began. You'll note that the family now has a flat-screen TV and Maggie's price at the grocery store has doubled to $486.52. Of course, all the changes to the sequence have already been lovingly detailed at Wikipedia.
