My Interview With Next Magazine

I guess it's JMG Magazine Week cuz there's an interview with me in the current issue of Next Magazine, in which they ask gay New Yorkers "of every generation" about their lives. Whee, I'm not the oldest one! Here's their set-up:
The 40th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots got us thinking about all the gay men who have come before us and what lessons we can learn from them. In response, for our annual issue of Pride profiles, we decided to look at gay men of different generations—in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s and 70s—and to see the difference between them. While some prefer Tennessee Williams to Madonna and some partied at Studio 54 while others live it up on the Lower East Side, we found that they also have plenty of common experiences and concerns, no matter what age they are. While we tried to choose “everyday” gay city dwellers, nothing about our subjects is ordinary. They all lead exciting and active lives that can teach us a lot about ourselves and gay life in New York in 2009.
The full interview is at the bottom of this page, right after Kevin Aviance. Hopefully I don't sound like too much of a tool.
