For the first time in its 85-year history, this year's Macy's Thanksgiving Parade will not go down Broadway, due to Mayor Bloomberg's new car-free zones at Times and Herald squares. Instead, the parade will zigzag down Sixth and Seventh avenues before terminating at Macy's.
