Latest Maine Poll: 48-48, 4% Undecided
Two weeks before the vote, the latest marriage poll from Maine shows a tie at 48-48, with 4% undecided. The survey from Public Policy Polling (PDF) notes a large gender gap in the responses, with 53% of men willing to overturn same-sex marriage, but with only 43% of women agreeing. According to the pollster, with responses split along predictable party lines, it may be the Independents that decide the result. The strongest Yes On 1 support comes from seniors, who typically turn out in much heavier numbers for these sort of things. You can donate to a last minute push here.
