Second Suspect Captured In Brutal Queens Gay Bashing Case

Congratulations are due to the NYPD for giving this case its proper urgency and attention.
Police say they have collared their second suspect in Friday's brutal beating of a gay man in Queens, just as a video of the crime has surfaced, ABC local affiliate WABC reported. Twenty-one-year-old Daniel Rodriguez was taken into custody by the United States Marshals Services at a relative's home in Norfolk, Virginia on Tuesday. Rodriguez and twenty-six-year-old Daniel Aleman, who was arrested on Sunday, attacked Jack Price, 49, as he was coming out of a corner deli around 3AM in the middle-class neighborhood of College Point in Queens, New York, police say. Video footage captured by a nearby business shows the 5-foot-6, 130-pound Price being pummeled and kicked by two men in the middle of the deserted street for about 3 minutes. Price suffered a broken jaw, fractured ribs and a lacerated spleen. He said the two men followed him to the store and called him “faggot” in identifying the men who beat him.
Relatives report that Jack Price is out of his coma but still on a respirator.
