DC Passes Marriage Equality

According to a message just posted on the Twitter account of DC For Marriage, the Washington DC City Council has approved marriage equality by a vote of 11-2. This was only the first of two required votes. The final vote is expected in two weeks. Same-sex marriage is coming to the District - suck it, Bishop Harry Jackson!
