West Virginia: NOM To Join Fellow Haters In Rally To Demand Marriage Vote
NOM and the Family Policy Council of West Virginia will rally at the WV state house today to demand that legislators move forward with a marriage referendum bill.
The Family Policy Council of West Virginia will hold a press conference during its "Let Us Vote" marriage rally featuring Maggie Gallagher, President of the National Organization for Marriage (NOM), Randy Wilson, National Field Director for Family Research Council (FRC) and Jeremy Dys, President and General Counsel of the Family Policy Council of West Virginia. Several West Virginia lawmakers have also been invited to speak. NOM is a nonprofit organization whose unique mission is research and public education on ways that law and public policy can strengthen marriage as a social institution. Family Research Council (FRC) champions marriage and family as the foundation of civilization, the seedbed of virtue, and the wellspring of society. The Family Policy Council of West Virginia is a servant organization that advocates for policies that embrace the sanctity of human life, enrich marriage, and safeguard religious freedom.
