Apple Boots Grindr From iPhone
I'm getting reports that Apple has deleted Grindr from the iPhone app store. According to Wikipedia, the deletion took place at midnight last night. One JMG reader writes: "How in the hell is Grindr ANY different from apps like Loopt Mix, except in that is it targeted toward gay men? Homophobia in the Bay Area? You have got to be friggin' kidding me!"
UPDATE: A reader reports that the app can still be downloaded, so it's possible that the deletion has already been reversed. iPhoners, report.
UPDATE II: According to a rep from Grindr, the deletion was a "mistake" and the product has been reinstated. As you were, y'all.
