CHICAGO: "It Gets Better" Video Shoot To Take Place This Sunday
JMG reader and fellow blogger Jake Stigers is helping to organize an "It Gets Better" video shoot to take place this Sunday at Chicago's LGBT center. Details:
Date: Sunday, October 3, 2010The completed video will be posted to Dan Savage's LGBT youth suicide prevention channel on YouTube. Chicagoans, please contact Jake to participate!
Time: 15-minute sessions between 1:00 and 7:00 pm
Location: Center on Halsted, 3656 N. Halsted
Room: Polk Brothers Foundation Youth Space, Second Floor
Here’s all you have to do:
1. Forward this information to all your Chicago-area adult gay friends.
2. Email nofo jake at gmail dot com to schedule your 15-minute shoot. Please include your name, phone number and a range of times you’re available, and we’ll do our best to fit everyone in.
3. Bring a photo of you as a kid if you want. We’ll scan it while you have your shoot and give it back to you.
