Lieberman And Collins Introduce Stand-Alone DADT Repeal Bill
With co-sponsors Sen. Mark Udall, Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, and GOP Sen. Susan Collins, independent Sen. Joe Lieberman has introduced the stand-alone DADT repeal bill he promised yesterday. The above-linked bill-tracking site indicates that Lieberman's measure has been referred to the Senate Armed Services Committee, although Lieberman has promised that his bill will go directly to a floor vote without Committee approval.
