Morning View

Today's anemic ballot was rather comical. All judgeships. All Democrats. All running unopposed. So it wasn't surprising when the above card was handed to me with the notation that I was only the tenth person to vote in my precinct. There were more old ladies volunteering today than they'd had voters. (Thanks Gladys, Ethel, and Ruth of Manhattan Precinct 17!)

UPDATE: JMG reader Murdoch writes to note that the judgeships in Queens are NOT unopposed and that the GOP is hoping that low voter turnout will sweep their candidates onto the bench.
