Breaking Down NOM's "Assault" Lies
After two days of unsubstantiated claims about an elderly woman "violently beaten" for refusing to take down her anti-gay yard sign, NOM has finally posted the police report on the incident. Let's break the lies one-by-one, shall we?

SECOND LIE: As the Robeson County Sheriff's Department told to me on the phone and as is confirmed by the police report, there was NO yard sign involved in the altercation.
THIRD LIE: Nobody was "violently beaten." The police report notes that the woman has a "red mark" on her shoulder that was "possibly going to be a bruise." People that commit "violent beatings" are immediately arrested.

FIFTH LIE: Again, as the police told me on the phone and as is confirmed by the police report, there was no "demand" that anybody take down any yard sign.

BONUS LIE: Readers point out that the involved woman is fact 57 years old, which in NOM-land is apparently "elderly."
You should also note that NOM has redacted the name of the "victim" on their posted copy of the police report, but NOM left the name of involved man readable throughout, presumably to subject him to retribution from God's Gentle People.
