JMG Readers Get Marriage License From Pennsylvania's Montgomery County
JMG reader Jeffrey writes us: "I've attached my marriage license from Montgomery County PA. We were the first couple through this morning. Followed by an older gay couple who'd been together 15 years and a very photogenic gay couple with their toddler. The forms still say bride & groom; Kevin got the bride slot because he spent the morning making sure his hair was perfect. The clerk who issued us our license, Helene Crawley, was incredibly happy to be doing it even though we asked for the unusual self-uniting paperwork. Everyone cheered when she told us to go get married. Hopefully this really is for real."
Congrats, guys! We're all hoping along with you.
