Anthony Weiner Vs British Reporter
Washington Post has a recap:
“This is what separates the American media from the British media,” Weiner says as the reporter corners him and begins to pepper him with vague questions. Asked about whether his campaign was about ambition and power, a “hunger for the big job,” Weiner mutters, “It’s hard to take you seriously.” He then repeats in a faux-British accent, “a hunger for the big job.” Asked another repetitive question, Weiner appears to think he might be being put on. “I just have the feeling I’ve like stepped into a Monty Python bit,” Weiner says. “I don’t know. ‘Would anything stop me?’ What, is a rock going to fall and hit (me)?”
