ARKANSAS: Gay Couples Jam Eureka Springs Office, Clerk Not Opening Doors
UPDATE: Clerk Relents, First Same-Sex Marriage License In South Issued

The clerk's office in Eureka Springs, Arkansas has not yet opened despite its regular Saturday start time of 9AM. Gay couples are jamming the courthouse and say they won't leave until they until they get their marriage licenses. The website of the Carroll County clerk's office notes Saturday hours of 9AM to 1PM. UPDATE: After much confusion and police barring the door, the clerk's office has begun issuing licenses!
