As the video begins, Miasha Forbes recalls being told, "I should kill you right now, you f—ing man," as she recounts an instance when she was followed and her life was threatened in a parking lot, just for being who she is. She is one of three transgender women of color speaking in GLAAD's new video, made in honor of Transgender Day of Remember, to describe the threats and physical violence they've survived, as well as the nation's epidemic of violence against the transgender community, and what TDOR means to them.
