No SCOTUS Ruling On Marriage Today
Nobody really expected the marriage rulings today, but with the current SCOTUS term ending in just six weeks, court watchers will be paying extra close attention on the traditional days that decisions are handed down - Mondays and Thursdays. But that tradition does not always apply, particularly for landmark cases. Windsor, for example, was issued on Wednesday, June 26th, four days before LGBT pride events in New York City and San Francisco. This year's pride parades in those two cities will be held on June 28th and the marriage rulings could come the next day. Or days before.
