Hillary Upsets Obama In New Hampshire, McCain Trounces Field
Defying pollsters and pundits who had all but crowned Barack Obama, yesterday Hillary Clinton pulled off a stunning upset in the New Hampshire primary, winning narrowly with 39% of the vote to Obama's 37%. McCain repeated his 2000 win in NH, besting Mitt Romney by 5%. Clinton's own team had been prepared for a loss. It appears that Obama actually won the most delegates, 12-11.

With solid support from registered Democrats and the backing of women who deserted her in Iowa, Senator Clinton beat Senator Barack Obama of Illinois with a margin that — if not particularly wide — was enough for her campaign to claim a resounding victory. The political intensity of her victory was magnified by a weekend of polls and rapturous packed rallies for Mr. Obama that suggested Mrs. Clinton was in dire shape, particularly after Mr. Obama’s drubbing of her in Iowa.

I have no idea where we'll be by Super Tuesday, but a month ago I never would have bet that Obama would be where he is now.

Jan 19 - Nevada caucus (approved by DNC)
Jan 26 - South Carolina Primary (approved by DNC)
Jan 29 - Florida Primary (penalized by DNC for breaking party rules, resulted in losing their delegates)
