Morning View - Tavern On The Green

Central Park's Tavern On The Green is the second highest grossing restaurant in the United States, serving 500,000 meals last year to the tune of $38M. Originally a sheep barn built in 1870, it became a restaurant in 1934. And since it's Bette Midler day, I must mention that scene in Stella where she doesn't want to ruin her estranged daughter's wedding, so she stands outside Tavern In The Green in the pouring rain and sobs while she watches through the window . Classic.

TRIVIA: The finishing line of the NYC Marathon is Tavern On The Green, where runners get a free feast from the restaurant.
