New Hampshire lawmakers
meet this morning for the third consideration of their marriage equality bill. The bill was first approved by both chambers in late April, then
was
not approved on a second vote after religious protections requested by Gov. John Lynch were inserted into the bill. That language was been tweaked, the governor says he's satisfied, so as long as enough of the original "yes" folks show up today, New Hampshire should become the sixth state to legalize same-sex marriage. A supportive rally is taking place at this writing outside the State House in Concord.
UPDATE: The bill
has passed the NH Senate. On to the House.
