It was a terrible tragedy losing four Americans.” Clinton took the brunt of public blame for the lack of security and resultant deaths of four Americans during the terrorist siege. During Senate hearings on the matter, Clinton famously pushed back on Sen. Ron Johnson‘s (R-WI) accusations that the administration misled the public on the lead-up to the attacks, telling him, “What difference, at this point, does it make?”
